Streaming is generally considered to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to Blu-rays/DVDs. This is because streaming eliminates the need for physical production, packaging, and transportation of discs, reducing carbon emissions and waste. Additionally, streaming services are more energy-efficient as they require less power to deliver content compared to the manufacturing and operation of DVD/Blu-ray players. However, streaming does have its own environmental impact through data centers and internet infrastructure, so it is important to consider overall energy consumption and efficiency when comparing the two options. **

Streaming is generally considered more sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to Blu-rays/DVDs. This is because streaming eliminates the need for physical production, packaging, and transportation of discs, reducing carbon emissions and waste. Additionally, streaming allows for more efficient use of resources as it does not require the manufacturing of physical products that may end up in landfills. While DVDs are no longer as popular as they once were due to the rise of streaming services, they are not yet extinct. Many people still purchase and collect DVDs, especially for special editions, box sets, or older movies that may not be available on streaming platforms. Additionally, DVDs are still commonly used in educational settings, libraries, and for certain types of media production. However, the overall trend is moving towards digital streaming, so the future of DVDs may be limited. **

DVDs can degrade over time due to exposure to environmental factors such as heat, humidity, and sunlight. Scratches on the surface of the disc can also cause data loss and make the DVD unreadable. Additionally, manufacturing defects or poor quality materials can contribute to the deterioration of DVDs. As a result, DVDs can "die" by becoming unplayable or corrupted, rendering them useless for viewing or data storage. **

DVDs that are valuable are typically rare, out-of-print, or special edition versions of popular movies or TV shows. Limited edition box sets, signed copies, or DVDs with bonus features or behind-the-scenes content can also be considered valuable to collectors. Additionally, DVDs of cult classics, foreign films, or hard-to-find titles may also hold value to certain collectors. Ultimately, the value of a DVD is subjective and can vary depending on the demand and rarity of the item. **

No, DVDs cannot be streamed in the traditional sense. DVDs are physical discs that need to be played in a DVD player or a computer with a DVD drive. However, some services may offer the option to rent or purchase digital copies of movies that are also available on DVD. **

Many people still buy DVDs, including collectors who appreciate physical media, individuals who have limited access to high-speed internet for streaming, and those who prefer the higher audio and video quality of DVDs. Additionally, some people enjoy the special features and bonus content that often come with DVDs, such as behind-the-scenes footage and director's commentary. Finally, DVDs are still popular among older generations who may not be as tech-savvy or comfortable with streaming services. **

As an AI, I do not have the capability to use physical DVDs. However, many people still use DVDs for watching movies, TV shows, and other forms of entertainment. While streaming services have become more popular, DVDs are still used by some individuals who prefer physical copies or have limited access to high-speed internet. **
